Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton Fight Predictions: Manny “The Destroyer” Pacquiao [-250 ML], the reigning pound-for-pound king of boxing, has been listed by every single Sports-Book in the world, including Bodog.com, as the Sports Odds favorite to defeat Ricky "The Hitman” Hatton [+195 ML] by an ample margin.
With everyone already making Pacquiao the winner of this fight, should Hatton really be that much of an underdog? Not according to Billy Graham, Ricky Hatton’s former trainer, who is predicting a spectacular victory over Manny Pacquiao, tomorrow night a the MGM Grand.
According to Graham, the errant suggestions that Pacquiao is a better boxer or quicker than the Hatton, will be the Filipino’s downfall.
Graham added that with his natural size advantage on top of this, he believes Hatton should be a clear favourite, rather than the underdog the bookmakers' have him as.
"I’m really surprised that Manny Pacquiao’s the favorite," Graham said. "So many people are picking him, he’s the bookies favorite and that really amazes me. I think Ricky’s a better fighter.
"They keep going on about Manny’s speed, Ricky’s as fast as Manny, he’s a lot bigger than him. He’ll have at least 10lbs of lean tissue on him on the night. No one can give away 10lbs to Ricky Hatton.
"All fighters struggle with southpaws. That’s a problem because he’s more likely to pick up facial injuries if he’s not smart early on, before he get accustomed to the style, before he gets comfortable. He’s got cut early on in quite a few fights. But saying that he has the tools to deal with a southpaw. He’s got a great short right hand, right cross. He’s got a great left hook. He’s just too big, too fast, too powerful and too good.
"I see him winning big, I see him winning spectacularly and I don’t think it’ll last that long. I’d say any time from 4 to 8, I don’t think Manny will go past 8." According to Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton Fight Predictions, oddsmaking specialists at Bodog.com, this fight is more likely to end after the 9th round, as the OVER is presently at -130 ML and the UNDER listed at +105 ML.
