Chad Dawson (27-0, 17 KO) vs. Antonio Tarver (27-5, 19 KO) II Fight Betting Odds: The International Boxing Federation light heavyweight title will be on the line this Saturday night at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Chad Dawson takes on Antonio Tarver for the second consecutive time since their October 11 bout.
In their first meeting, Dawson won by decision, as the judges scored it, 117-110, 118-109 and 117-110. In the rematch, oddsmakers at Bodog.com are expecting more of the same, as Chad Dawson [-800 ML] has been listed as a huge Sports Odds-on favorite to once again defeat Antonio Tarver [+500 ML]. 
Boxing oddsmakers at Bodog.com are also expecting this fight to mimic the first one, as they expect it to get past the 11½ rounds (OVER: -220 ML) rather than it ending before that mark (UNDER: +180 ML).
By taking one look at the odds, one can infer that there seems to be no way Tarver can win this fight.
The one good thing that I can tell you regarding Dawson-Tarver 2 is that HBO will be replaying last weekend’s blockbuster bout between Manny Pacquiao vs. Ricky Hatton. A must see if you ask me, especially if you love paralyzing knockouts.
Pac-Man’s electrifying knockout of Hatton was a hit in Vegas last week, as a sellout MGM Grand crowd of 16,000 paid more than $9 million at the gate.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s fight isn’t exciting anyone, as Dawson’s recognition isn’t living up to his standards. “Yes, it’s frustrating sometimes,” Dawson said this week. “I was watching the Manny Pacquiao-Ricky Hatton fight on TV (last Saturday). And as good as he looked, I watch a fight like that and think, ‘I’m just as talented as this guy who is ranked No. 1 in the world pound for pound.’
“He definitely deserves to be No. 1. It’s just frustrating because I know I’m better than most of the guys up there.”
