For Emelianenko, his critics will continue to hammer away at him, as he prepares to take on yet another “unworthy” opponent. Nevertheless, Fedor is happy to be back in the United States fighting an opponent like Werdum on one of the biggest stages in the world.
“I’m very happy to perform here, because the audience here is very understanding and welcoming and they are very faithful fans of MMA,” Emelianenko said through an interpreter. “I’m really happy to be back here.”
