Randy Couture vs Brock Lesnar UFC 91 Betting Odds Preview: It was official announced Tuesday that Randy “The Natural” Couture will indeed fight in the UFC again. Consequently, what makes this story even more intriguing is whom Couture will face in his return to the UFC Heavyweight division. Yesterday evening, UFC president Dana White announced that wrestling powerhouse Brock Lesnar would be getting his title shot against one of the best UFC heavyweights of all time in November at Las Vegas' MGM Grand. BodogLife.com has UFC 91 as: Randy Couture an early -135 betting odds favorite to defeat and thus, maintain his Heavyweight Championship belt against Brock Lesnar (+105). If everything goes according to plan, this would be the biggest UFC fight ever. But, it'll most likely be topped by a Georges St-Pierre vs. B.J. Penn main event in January. It is reported that, Dana White is expecting a lot of revenue to come from this mega-fight; approximately 1½ million pay-per-views buys. Randy Couture, who hasn’t stepped into the octagon in years, agreed to this fight as an out-of-court settlement with the UFC. The 45-year-old has been at a legal stalemate with the company for some time now, as he desperate tried to move forward with his fighting career. However, due to legalities in his contract, he owed Zuffa LLC, 2 more fights inside the octagon. In Tuesday's press conference, Couture said: “We’ve cleared the air and we’ve addressed a lot of issues… we’re both at a different place and both the company and myself are trying to move forward. I think we understand each other and, certainly, and I would much rather fight in the octagon than anywhere else.” When asked how the resolution was reached, White simply avoided the subject, and indicated that the winner of Couture vs. Lesnar would face the winner of Nogueira vs. Mir (Dec. 27th). “It will be champion vs. champion,” White said, as he also pointed out that this fight would occur sometime in 2009.
