UFC 88 Chuck Liddell vs Rashad Evans Predictions: Tonight, live from Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, it’s UFC 88: Breakthrough. This MMA event has a scheduled starting time of 10 PM ET and can be seen on pay-per-view. In tonight’s main event, veteran Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell (21-5-0) takes on undefeated upcoming star, Rashad “Sugar” Evans (16-0-1). Also on the card is, Rich “Ace” Franklin (25-3-0) vs. Matt “The Hammer” Hamil (6-1-0), and Dan Henderson (22-7-0) vs. Rousimar Palhares (17-1-0). At BodogLife.com, Chuck Liddell is -290 betting odds favorite to defeat (+230) Rashad Evans in UFC 88: Breakthrough’s main event. The former UFC light heavyweight champion, Liddell, lost his title to Quinton “Rampage” Jackson in UFC 71, when he was KO’d in the first round. Liddell then lost his second fight in a row, a split decision to Keith Jardine. After that loss, everyone began questioning of the Iceman’s time had quickly arrived: “There’s a hunger thing that you have to have to be an elite fighter… and I just didn’t see a Chuck Liddell who was as hungry as he used to be,” said Liddell’s former manager, friend, and UFC president Dana White. Nevertheless, with everyone speculating that Liddell was done, the 38-year-old came back in grand fashion. The Iceman defeated one of the toughest MMA fighters of all time, Wanderlei Silva last December. If Liddell is indeed able to defeat Evans in Saturday night’s main event, he will most likely get a shot at new light heavyweight champion Forest Griffin, or a showdown fight with Anderson Silva. Here are other betting odds for tonight's UFC 88: Breakthrough: Rich Franklin (-265) vs. Matt Hamill (+205) Dan Henderson (-220) vs. Rousimar Palhares (+170)
