UFC 135 Betting Odds: The Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, will be the site for UFC 135 Betting Odds, a great light heavyweight championship between one of the best of all time in challenger, (32-8-0) Quinton “Rampage” Jackson [+400] taking on the new sensation known as title-holder, (13-1-0) Jon “Bones” Jones [-600]. UFC 135 happens this Saturday night, beginning at 9 PM ET (8 PM CT/6 PM PT) on pay-per-view.
For Jones, this would be his long-awaited first title defense since demolishing then-champion, (20-5-5) Mauricio “Shogun” Rua, last March at UFC 128. After battering the Brazilian with punches, kicks, flying-knees, spinning back-fists and brutal ground-and-pound, the 24-year-old Jones finally took Rua out of his misery with a third-round TKO. It was without a doubt the worst beating the former PRIDE Grand Prix champ had ever taken in his long and successful MMA career.
“I respect the guy to the fullest,” Jones said of Rampage, “nothing personal.”
For Jackson, the former PRIDE superstar is riding a 2-fight win streak in The Ultimate Fighting Championship. In addition, Rampage is 4-1 since losing his UFC title to Forrest Griffin at UFC 86. Saturday night, Jackson will have to beat the odds in order to stop all the fuzz about Jones being unbeatable. A victory would not only give him his belt back, but it would also set-up a rematch with long-time rival and fellow TUF 10 coaching counterpart, Rashad Evans.
