In the main event of the evening, Michael “The Count” Bisping returns home as a [-240] Sports Odds Betting favorite against the underdog, Chris “The Crippler” Leben [+190]. UFC 89: Michael Bisping vs Chris Leben Betting Odds Preview

Fighting out of Manchester, England, the 29-year-old Bisping, has put together a very impressive Pro MMA resume. At 6’ 2”, 185-lbs, Bisping is in terrific shape, and has the ability to stand up with the best of them.

In his last 7 fights, “The Count” is 6-1; five out of which have come via TKO: Jason Day, Charles McCarthy, Elvis Sinosic, Eric Schafer, and Josh Haynes. His other victory came as a split-decision over Matt Hamill. Bisping’s only defeat during that 7-fight span was a split decision loss to undefeated, #1 contender, Rashad Evans (16-0-1) in UFC 78.

Also in action, Betting Odds Underdog (13-5-1) Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine [+150] will be taking on the hard-hitting, (9-2-0) Brandon “The Truth” Vera [-180].

Jardine is a good fighter, but has struggled to find consistency in his game. After defeating Forest Griffin by 1st round TKO (4:41) in UFC 66, Jardine was then pummeled by Houston Alexander in 48 seconds (TKO) in UFC 71.

The Dean of Mean then bounced back with a powerful performance against Chuck Liddell, which earned him a split decision victory in UFC 76. However, Jardine followed that big win by getting destroyed in (UFC 84) just 36 seconds of the 1st round, by Wanderlei Silva.

Brandon Vera is coming off a unanimous decision win over Reese Andy on July 19, 2008 (Silva vs. Irvin on Spike), and back-to-back losses in UFC 85 and UFC 77 to Fabricio Werdum (TKO) and Tim Sylvia (UD).
