Brock Lesnar to Return in Six Months to UFC?

by Abe Luciano on Friday, November 20th, 2009

Brock Lesnar to Return in Six Months to UFC? The biggest heavyweight in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship isn’t done with fighting just yet, says Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros, Brock Lesnar’s longtime friend and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach. According to Medeiros, the reigning UFC champ will not only return to the UFC, but will be in fighting shape within the next six months.

This weekend, the Ultimate Fighting Championship celebrates its 106th event with a historic rematch in the light heavyweight division. November 21st was supposed to be the day that Brock Lesnar was initially scheduled to make his second UFC title defense against the undefeated Shane Carwin.

However, due to Lesnar’s illness, this evening will now belong to the return of former light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz [-105 ML] as he gets set to make his return to the Octagon to take on another former champ in Forest Griffin [-125 ML] for a second time.

The 7-time BJJ champ says that the Next Big Thing "is getting better and that is the most important thing … He will be fine and be fighting again within 6 months." Medeiros also issued a warning to Carwin and the rest of the division, "I can just say that the heavyweights can stop laughing and get ready to start crying because the champion will be back soon."
