UFC Fight Night 19 Betting Odds Preview: This Wednesday night, live from Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will present UFC Fight Night 19: Diaz vs Guillard Betting Odds Preview. This UFC Fight Night 19 event can be seen live and free of charge on Spike TV, beginning at 8 PM ET immediately followed by the debut of “The Ultimate Fighter 10” at 10 PM ET and of course, our first look at Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson going up against some real MMA fighters. I really don’t want to play spoiler, but there are various rumors circulating that in the show, Kimbo got allegedly knocked-out by 6’10” MMA veteran Wesley Sims. I don’t really know how valid that is, because the UFC really doing a good job of keeping TUF 10 results thing secretive, but it’s going to be entertaining. The main event for this UFC Fight Night 19 will feature “TUF 5” champ and Nick’s younger brother, (10-4, 2 KO, 7 Sub.) Nate Diaz going up against (22-7-2, 13 KO, 3 Sub.) Melvin Guillard. According to UFC Fight Night 19 Betting Odds makers at SportsBook.com, the Gracie product, Nate Diaz [-220 ML] has been listed as the sports betting odds favorite to defeat Melvin Guillard [+170 ML] in this Lightweight showdown. Despite what the UFC Fight Night 19 Betting Odds indicate, the underdog has a fire under his belly. "A lot of people are counting me out because of his (Brazilian) Jiu-Jitsu," Guillard said. "But Gleison Tibau couldn't finish me, and he's an American Top Team coach, and he's much stronger than Diaz. I feel I'm the bigger, stronger, faster fighter. I hit harder. I move a lot quicker than he does... I'm going in there to knock him out and finish him." |

UFC 102 Results: It was supposed to be Randy Couture’s homecoming, but instead it was a Brazilian Carnival, as both main events at UFC 102 Results were dominated by South Americans last night in Portland, Oregon. Going into the main event of the night, UFC 102 Results specialists had Randy Couture [-175 ML] listed as the sports betting odds favorites to defeat Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira [+145 ML]. With the ink still runny in his new UFC six-fight contract extension, the hometown hero received a huge standing ovation from the many in attendance at the Rose Garden Arena last night. However, this wasn’t to be his night, as Big Nog came in looking as good as ever. "I know I fought a guy who was important (to the Portland crowd)," a gracious Nogueira said. "I respect Randy. ... He's one of my idols in the UFC." The former Pride champ dominated the fight from beginning to end, as he won every hard-fought round. After three very exciting, action-packed rounds of fighting, Nogueira earned a one-sided, unanimous decision victory. From the beginning of the bout, it was clear that The Natural’s gameplan was to stand with Minotauro, and the Brazilian obliged. "I had a lot of injuries (with) my neck, my knee and everything," Nogueria said. "I want to be the top fighter in the UFC. I want to win a title belt. If you guys gave me a chance to fight Brock Lesnar, it would be my pleasure." Nogueira would be next in line for a title shot against UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar (should he get passed Carwin in Nov), who was in attendance along with middleweight champ Anderson Silva last night sitting cage side. Couture was beaten on every facet of the fight: he exchanged with the Brazilian and he got rocked several times, he was even outpowered on the ground by a stronger jiu-jitsu specialist, as the bout could have been stopped several times. "I'll let the dust settle, take a week and see what the UFC wants to do," stated Couture. "I'm here, and I'm ready to fight. I feel the best I've ever felt." Nevertheless, I can’t help but to give credit to the ageless wonder, Captain America, as he was clearly fighter a better man that night, but he stood in there, avoiding submission after submission attempts, hard blows and some vicious ground-and-pound. Many speculate that perhaps Couture’s best move would be to move down a class to the highly competitive, UFC light heavyweight division. “I'm going to take it one fight at a time as I did 12 years ago when I started this thing," Couture said after UFC 102 Results. "I'll see where that goes… I didn't have the outcome that I wanted, but I still had a good performance, overall. I did a lot of things that I trained to do for this fight. We'll evaluate that, evaluate the training and see what fight is next and take it one at a time." Other UFC 102 Results include: Thiago Silva Upsetting Keith Jardine (1st round TKO) Nate Marquardt defeated Demian Maia for “Knockout of the Night” (22 second, 1st round KO) Brandon Vera beat Krzysztof Soszynski (unanimous decision) Chris Leben was Submitted by Jake Rosholt (3rd round Arm-Triangle) And finally, Todd Duffee set a new UFC Results record by knocking out Tim Hague in 7 seconds of the very first round. |

UFC 102: Keith Jardine vs. Thiago Silva UFC Picks Predictions: Tonight’s UFC 102: (14-6-1) Keith Jardine vs. Thiago Silva co-main event promises to be a great fight. Let’s get things started by pointing out that UFC 102 Picks Predictions Odds makers have listed Keith Jardine [-140 ML] as the sports betting odds favorite to defeat the betting underdog Thiago Silva [+110 ML] tonight. Both fighters come into this fight with something to prove. Not only have both lost their last fight, but also they’ve been defeated in dramatic fashion. Silva was coming off a very impressive victory over Houston Alexander (who destroyed Jardine in 48 seconds TKO) when he got a shot at the now-UFC light heavyweight champion, Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida at UFC 94. That night, like he has done to everyone else, Machida made his fellow Brazilian look pretty insignificant with a nasty KO victory. “I thought pretty badly of him after that Machida fight,” Jardine said of Silva. “I thought he didn’t do well at all. But look at what Machida’s done. It’s now hard to put a lot of stock in that fight at all because of what Machida’s done. He’s just tearing everybody up.” However, before losing to Machida, Silva was also tearing through the toughest UFC division like a hot knife through butter. Silva insists that his loss to The Dragon will help him defeat another unconventional fighter in The Dean of Mean. “He’s very unorthodox,” Silva said. “You’re never sure what he might do next. That makes him difficult.” This would be Silva’s first fight since January, a loss that has perhaps made him a different man. “You question a lot of things,” he said. “It wasn’t supposed to be that way. A lot of thoughts go through your mind. When you’re not used to losing and you lose all of a sudden, it makes for a very difficult time. It was a hard spot in my life… You gain more from beating the top guys, and Jardine is definitely one of the top guys. He’s a great fighter and that’s what I need to see.” Bet on UFC 102: Keith Jardine vs. Thiago Silva Betting Odds at internet sportsbook SBG Global and receive up to 295% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today! |
