Lyoto Machida vs Mauricio Shogun Rua UFC 104 Betting Odds PDF Print E-mail

Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio Shogun Rua UFC 104 Betting Odds: This week, UFC president, Dana White announced that UFC light heavyweight champion, Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida would make his first title-defense against fellow Brazilian Mauricio “Shogun” Rua as UFC 104 Betting Odds’ main event in Los Angeles, California.

“The next title shot is going to be Machida vs. Shogun and the fight is going to be at the Staples Center (in Los Angeles), Oct. 24,” stated White, announcing the UFC 104 main event.

Did you know that UFC 100, which is just around the corner, will have two UFC Championship titles on the line for the first time in history?

That’s right, in the UFC’s heavyweight division, Brock Lesnar is set to make his first title-defense against the only man to beat him in the Octagon, Frank Mir.

Also in UFC 100, one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, UFC Welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre defends his crown against No.1 contender Thiago Alves, in what is guaranteed to be an instant classic.

So, what are you waiting for? Visit SBGglobal.com now and make some extra coin while enjoying the biggest event in Mixed Martial Arts history: UFC 100! But before making your UFC: 100 Picks , get the latest sports betting odds for your free sports picks from the best online UFC 100 Betting Odds sportsbooks.

Now, back to UFC 104 main event. As we all remember, Machida became the new UFC light heavyweight champ by viciously knocking out Rashad Evans in UFC 98. The victory boosted The Dragon’s record to a perfect 15-0 and his seventh straight victory in the Octagon.

“Chuck Liddell was no barn burner, Randy Couture, Matt Hughes, none of those guys were knocking people out and having exciting fights when they first came in,” White said about people calling Machida’s style boring. “I knew that it would be a little bit of a process before Machida felt at home.”

Shogun, once considered the best 205-pound fighter in the world, hasn’t really showed that same flare ferocity that made him so popular overseas. He made his UFC debut by losing to a then up-and-coming Forrest Griffin, by submission in the culminating seconds of their UFC 76 fight.

Rua followed that loss with a lackluster effort against an ancient Mark Coleman in UFC 93, where he was clearly in no shape to fight. Despite a TKO victory against The Hammer, and after taking much criticism, Shogun accepted White’s offer to take on “The Iceman”.

In that fight, Shogun had a much better showing, knocking out Liddell in what seemed his last fight in the UFC. Nevertheless and despite the victory, many questions remain.

“A year and a half ago, people were saying this guy is the best light heavyweight in the world. He’s still the same guy. What you have to understand is, he had a long layoff. He had a couple of knee surgeries,” White explained. “He looked good in the Liddell fight. The key to Shogun is keeping him busy.”

Mixed Martial Arts, in particular the UFC has been really pay dividens to its bettors. TUF 9 Results The Ultimate Fighter Finale Results: Last night, Season 9 of The Ultimate Fighter reached its conclusion with Spike-TV’s live Finale from The Pearl at the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. TUF 9 Results will show that the United Kingdom showed the MMA world that they are for real, with a cleat sweep of the Americans, thus, earning UFC contracts.

Through the intense weeks of training and constant fighting, Michael Bisping took a bunch of guys and made them a unit, defeating the United States and coach Dan Henderson.

Nevertheless, there were no losers among the TUF 9 coaches, as it was reported that the UFC gave both Bisping and Henderson brand new Land Rovers for their appearance on the show.

The only hope for the Americans going into the TUF 9 Results Finale rested squarely on the shoulders of welterweight, DaMarques Johnson of Salt Lake City, Utah. Johnson, who was the vocal leader for Team U.S.A. from day one, was defeated by UK native, James Wilks with a choke at 4:54 of the first round.

TUF 9 Results show that DaMarques Johnson [-350 ML] was a huge favorite going into this fight against the underdog, James Wilks [+275 ML]. The other TUF 9 Finale matchup two Brits, as Ross Pearson [+170 ML] upset the TUF 9 Betting Odds favorite, Andre Winner [-210 ML].

Those weren’t the only upsets of the night, as Joe Stevenson [+140 ML] got a desperately needed victory by stunning TUF 9 Results and Betting Odds favorite Nate Diaz [-170 ML] .

In the TUF 9 Results main event of the night, Diego Sanchez [-340] continued his climb in the UFC rankings as he defeated underdog Clay Guida [+260] in one of the craziest, most exciting fights in recent UFC history.

“We’re blood brothers now,” Sanchez said. “I just got tremendous respect after tonight for Clay Guida,” said Sanchez. “I hit him with punches, kicks and knees right on the button and he kept coming. He’s known for his conditioning and he came prepared. I was prepared, but I wasn’t prepared for him to survive the onslaught I gave him.”

It was like two psychopaths going at it with no regard for human life, very entertaining and bloody fight indeed. “I don’t know how many stitches I got,” said Guida. “I don’t think it was that many, but when I asked the doctor, he said he lost count. I don’t like the blood. It’s the first time I’ve been cut since I was 18 and I graduated high school.”

UFC 100 Betting Odds Preview Dean & Mazzagati: The 100th event of what has become the world’s most successful Mixed Martial Arts company, the Ultimate Fighting Championship, will take place on July 11th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

On that historic day, two UFC world championship titles will be on the line for the first time ever, as well as other very entertaining UFC matchups. One of the things that people will be paying close attention to in the weeks leading up to this historic event is the refereeing. UFC 100 Betting Odds Preview: Dean & Mazzagati

As we have seen in the past, having the right third-man in the Octagon makes all the difference between a great fight and a disastrous effort.

Needless to say that choosing the right refs for UFC 100 will be closely scrutinized by the members of the media, MMA fans everywhere, and of course by UFC president Dana White.

Let’s begin with what matters the most: the UFC 100 main event fights! UFC 100 Betting Odds Preview experts at SpotsBook.com have prepared a great UFC 100 Betting Odds Preview. Make sure to visit them today and check out all the UFC 100 Betting Odds available.

In the main events, Brock Lesnar defends his UFC heavyweight title against Frank Mir and welterweight king Georges St. Pierre takes on No.1 title contender Thiago Alves.

SportBook.com’s UFC 100 Betting Odds Preview state that Georges St. Pierre [-280 ML] will go into this fight as a huge UFC 100 Sports Odds favorite to keep his championship belt against a very dangerous underdog in Thiago Alves [+240 ML].

It has been announced that for the UFC 100 heavyweight fight between champion Brock Lesnar and interim title-holder Frank Mir, the referee will be Herb Dean. In addition, Steve Mazzagatti will oversea the action in the UFC 100 Welterweight championship fight between Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves.

Before making your UFC 100 Odds Picks, get the latest sports betting odds for your free sports picks from the best online UFC 100 Betting Odds sportsbooks.

The decision to appoint Dean and Mazzagatti to the main events were of course made by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. "I don't know why Steve's (Mazzagatti) got such a bad rap from Dana," NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer said of White’s harsh criticism after UFC 99. "All I can think of is Steve, as a fireman, he has paramedic training. I think compared to the other referees, he probably knows better if a guy is hurt or not."
