Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather Fight Dead? Once again, politics and all the other nonsense around boxing is making it very difficult for fans to remain loyal and optimistic about the sport’s future. With boxing’s reputation at an all-time worse, and now in danger of taking a backseat to mixed martial arts in competitive fighting, one would think the fighters’ camps would understand the need for Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweatherfight to happen.

But instead of embracing the opportunity to make history, it seems as though Manny Pacquiao’s and Floyd Mayweather’s people are doing whatever they can for this mega-bout not to take place. Now, they’re saying that the anticipated, Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Odds March 13 Fight is Dead, because both sides can’t agree on drug testing policies.

"It's over," promoter Bob Arum stated on Thursday. "O-V-E-R… "As far as I'm concerned the fight is over."

Mayweather’s camp has made some public allegations indicating that the Filipino might not be playing by the rules. Furthermore, the Mayweathers and Golden Boy Productions have asked for the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to conduct the tests.

“They're viewed by the Pacquiao side as being partisan,” Arum said about the USADA. “He doesn't want to use them. I don't want to use them. They're so inflexible they can't be used.”

But that’s not the end of it. In fact, it’s just the beginning of this soap opera. According to Pac-Man’s camp, the Mayweathers and Golden Boy have gone too far with their allegations, and are seeking retribution.

“Enough is enough,” Pacquiao said in the statement. “These people, Mayweather Sr., Jr., and Golden Boy Promotions, think it is a joke and a right to accuse someone wrongly of using steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs. I have tried to just brush it off as a mere pre-fight ploy but I think they have gone overboard.

“These people think they are doing the sport a great service. They are not. To Floyd, despite all these accusations, may your Christmas be merry and I will see you in court, soon, too.”
