In this afternoon’s final round at the Masters, Tiger Woods will try to step in uncharted territory for him. For the first time in his already historic career, he’ll try to win a major-championship out of the final pairing, and trailing at the start of Sunday’s final round. BetUs.com has Tiger Woods a -240 beting favorite in this year's PGA Tour's Masters. There aren’t many things Tiger hasn’t accomplished in the game of golf. But he’ll have his work cut out not only on the leaderboard, but will also have to deal with hot and gusty conditions in Augusta, Georgia. When Woods (-5) tees off, he’ll be in the 5th spot on the leaderboard, and a daunting 6 strokes behind the overall leader Trevor Immelman (-11) who’s scheduled to tee off at 2:25 pm. However, if there’s anyone (in all sports) who can pull off a feat of this magnitude, indeed is Tiger Woods.
The current no. 1 ranked player in the world seems to find green jackets quite appealing. Which, going into Sunday might be his biggest ally over the current leaders. Tiger has had memorable moments, and has also put up astronomical numbers at Augusta. He won his first green jacket in style, in 1997 with an impossible 270 score (a record best at the Masters). His second Masters came just a few years later in 2001 when he tried to match his first, with another eye-popping 272. In 2001 he must have been bored, so he went back-to-back on the Masters winning with a modest 276. Finally in 2005 Tiger got his 4th green jacket mirroring his ’02 finish, posting another 276 score for the tournament.
