One of the most anticipated and exiting weekends in the PGA Tour season is here: The Players Championship from TCP Sawgrass at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. First round actions tees off Thursday May 8th at 7:30 am EST and can be seen on PGATOUR.com. With Tiger Woods still recuperating from knee surgery, the rest of the field must take advantage and accumulate as many FedEx Cup points as possible, before Tiger comes roaring back. Oddsmakers at BodogLife.com have prepared a list of odds each competitors has of winning The Players Championship tournament at TPC Sawgrass.     

This course is indeed one of the most beautiful/challenging courses on Tour. It possesses some of the most prominent holes ever played on the PGA.

The 16th hole is a high-risk high-reward hole. It is a par 5, 523-yards long and it is considered one of the easiest holes in the Stadium-course. It is also the last chance the players have of scoring well in the back 9, considering the next two (17th and 18th) both are ranked among the top 50 toughest holes on Tour.  

The infamous 17th island hole is a par 3 137 yards long. Through the years it has become a fan favorite. Although it’s not a very long hole, going for the pin is highly risky and the slightest miscalculation could spell a wet landing in the drink (and penalty strokes). 

Finally the 18th hole is a breathtaking 447-yard hole considered by the pros the most difficult in the stadium-course. Inspired by a hole at Pebble Beach, the lake comes into play twice in this hole (on the tees shot and on the approach). Not to mention a very sloped and weird-shaped green –governed by a massive greenside bunker- also considered one of the toughest the players will face all season.
