The recuperation of Tiger Wood’s recently operated knee, seems to be coming along great, and right on schedule. The number one player in the world and FedEx Cup points leader, Woods, is projected to make his (Tour) comeback just in time for the Memorial Tournament (Dublin, Ohio) May 29th - June 1st. This means, the party is almost over for rest of the golf universe. But fortunately for them, Tiger won’t be participating in the 2008 AT&T Classic TPC at Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia (40th edition). Champion oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com have all the winning odds you need for the AT&T Classic TPC at Sugarloaf, beginning May 15th - 18th. The modern/breathtaking TPC at Sugarloaf in Duluth, Georgia, is a par-72; 7,293 yards long, and was actually the first signature-course ever designed (in the United Sates) by the great Greg Norman. This course is most prominent for hosting the BellSouth Classic in 1997. According to GOLFWEEK, it has ranked 51st and 55th among “America’s 100 Best Modern Courses” for the years 1998 and 1999, respectively. It is entirely Bermuda grass (on the fairways and roughs), and Bent grass surfaces the greens and its fringes. This year’s tournament offers a $5,500,000 purse and 25,000 FedEx Cup points. Defending AT&T Classic Champion (2004, 2007) Zach Johnson -who also won this year’s Masters- will look to repeat last year’s feat, and narrow the gap in the FedEx Cup standings. Johnson’s odds of winning this weekend in Atlanta are 15/1, as he currently sits 84th, in the FedEx Cup standings with 2,065 points. 2008 FedEx Cup (Top 5) Standings: 1. Tiger Woods: 17,745 2.
