Tiger Woods Wife Will Attend 2008 US Open: This weekend’s 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines will be much more than just an emotion-filled golf tournament for the Woods family. On this father’s day weekend in La Jolla, California, there will be lots of emotion-filled firsts for Tiger Woods, his wife Elin, and his baby daughter Sam. SportsBetting.com has posted Tiger’s Betting Odds, on how many Majors Woods will win in 2008.

This weekend in Southern California will be a very special one indeed for Tiger Wood’s immediate family. Tiger will subconsciously revisit many life-changing experiences: Some have been good and even great, but there have certainly been some very bad ones too.

Many have been blissful and joyful... but others have been his darkest and most painful. According to champion odds-makers at SportsBetting.com, Tiger Woods’ betting odds of winning 3 Majors in 2008 are 4 - 1.

For the first time Tiger Woods returns to golf, after a two month absence. Tiger took a leave of absence from the PGA Tour, to repair an injured left knee, which had been barking for some time. Thus, Tiger hasn’t played in a professional golf tourney since The Masters at Augusta, GA when he finished second to Trevor Immelman.

Another first for Tiger Woods will be the celebration of his baby daughter, Sam Alexis’s birthday. It was almost a year ago, that Tiger Woods’ wife, who will be attending the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, gave birth to their first child. And in-turn, Tiger will also be the celebrated one, when for the first time in his life, Tiger’s wife and child will be the ones congratulating Woods on his first Father’s Day.

But unfortunately, not all of his most recent experiences are that beautiful for the best human being to ever swing a golf club. This weekend’s 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines also marks the anniversary of Tiger’s first tournament back after the passing of his father, Earl Woods. Physically and mentally drained from his loss, Tiger entered the U.S. Open before he was ready to face his reality. It was that same tournament at La Jolla, that Tiger Woods for the first time in his illustrious professional career, failed to make the cut in a major championship.

Odds-makers at SportsBetting.com posted Tiger’s betting odds, on how many Majors Woods will win in 2008:

0 Majors: 3 - 2

1 Majors: 7 - 4

2 Majors: 3 - 1
