Tiger Woods Affair With Rachel Uchitel Causes Car Crash? Tiger Woods has had quiet an eventful week, to say the least. As if the allegations of his affair with New York woman, Rachel Uchitel weren’t enough, you can now add a bizarre car crash to the mix, as this is quickly becoming a soap opera.
On early Friday morning, at around 2:25 AM ET, Woods hit a fire hydrant and a tree in the neighbor’s yard after furiously pulling out of his driveway following an alleged altercation with his wife Elin Woods. Various reports indicate 
that Woods suffered some facial cuts in the accident and was in and out of consciousness when police arrived at the scene.
According to Windermere, FL police chief Daniel Saylor, Tiger Woods was lying in the middle of the street with his wife watching over him. "She was frantic, upset," Saylor said. "It was her husband laying on the ground."
It’s reported that Elin told authorities that she was inside the mansion when she heard the accident. According to what she told police, she "came out and broke the back window with a golf club" and "she supposedly got him out and laid him on the ground," Saylor added. "He was in and out of consciousness when my guys got there."
But according to the National Enquirer, Star magazine and others, this incident might have been caused by the recent stories that Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel have had an ongoing romantic relationship. According to these reports, Woods and Uchitel have had rendezvous in New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Australia.
Uchitel, a nightclub VIP operations manager, has denied the allegations though various outlets:

The Associated Press and New York Post: "God forbid Tiger got into a car wreck because of this false report of him having an affair," Uchitel stated. "Despite it being completely untrue, it still must have certainly caused some problems at home — if I was his wife, I probably would have killed him. We have never had an affair, talked on the phone or sent any type of text, sexy or not. "I am really upset about it because I am being portrayed as a homewrecker, when it simply isn't true."
However on Friday, TMZ.com reported that "multiple law enforcement sources" said there was indeed an altercation between Tiger and Elin before the crash occurred and it was related to the cheating rumors. According to TMZ: Elin Woods confronted him about marital infidelity rumors, scratched his face during an argument and, when he got into the SUV, struck it several times with a golf club. Woods became "distracted," and that’s when the vehicle hit the fire hydrant and the tree.
"Right now we believe this is a traffic crash. We don't believe it is domestic issue," patrol spokesman Sgt. Kim Montes said.
