The 20-horse field will navigate the 1 ¼ miles race on what could be a muddy track. The odds maker’s second pick, McCracken, enters Saturday’s race off of a third place finish in the Grade 2 Blue Grass Stakes, finishing behind fellow Derby entrants Irap and Practical Joke. McCracken had won his first four starts leading up to the Blue Grass.
