Super Bowl XLVII Line –

Baltimore Ravens +3.5 (-110), Over 47.5 (-110)
San Francisco 49ers -3.5 (-110), Under 47.5 (-110)

This is not a prediction, but just a little factoid to tuck away for, perhaps, future reference: San Francisco is 5-0 in five Super Bowl appearances and it won each of those games by at least four or more points (average margin of victory 19.8 points).

Super Bowl MVP –

Colin Kaepernick +140, Joe Flacco +200, Ray Lewis +600, Frank Gore +600, Michael Crabtree +1000, Ray Rice +1000, Anquan Boldin +1500, Torrey Smith +1500, NaVorro Bowman +2500, Aldon Smith +2500, Patrick Willis +2500, Ed Reed +2500, Dennis Pitta +2500, Justin Smith +2500, Vernon Davis +2500, LaMichael James +5000, Bernard Pierce +5000, Randy Moss +5000, Justin Tucker +5000, David Akers +5000

Since 2004 quarterbacks have won Super Bowl MVP honors six times. A wide receiver garnered the award the other three years (Deion Branch, Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes). A running back has not won Super Bowl MVP since the Broncos Terrell Davis in 1998. Ray Lewis is one of two linebackers to ever win Super Bowl MVP (Chuck Howley – Cowboys 1971).

The average margin of victory in the last 11 Super Bowls is 8.2 points. Six of those championship games featured a margin of victory of four or fewer points, including last year’s showdown between the Patriots and Giants.

Team to Score First –

Ravens +105
49ers -125

San Francisco is favored here, but it should be noted the Niners have not scored first in a game since going up 7-0 in a December 16th game at New England.
