2014 Super Bowl Payouts

by Thomas Jensen on Sunday, February 2nd, 2014

super-bowl-48The 2014 Super Bowl payouts this year were not slated to be that juicy with the money line being posted on the Seahawks at +115 odds (Bet $100 to win $115) and the Broncos at -135 odds (Bet $135 to win $100). The bettors that took the Safety 50 to 1 odds to be the first score of the game were very happy early.

The second half money lines had a juice +241 odds on Seattle with Denver getting a steep -291 odds. A little disheartening for those taking Manning to come back big in the second half once Percy Harvin ran back the 2nd half opening kick off return for an 87 yard touchdown. It was the 10th time this has happened in Super Bowl history.

Not to mention, there was a prop bet floating around some shops on whether Seattle would score in the first 15 seconds of both halves paying 100,000 to 1 odds! Talk about a nice payday!

One of the biggest Super Bowl payouts that looked like it had a chance to hit was 100 to 1 if the Broncos were shut out for the entire game.

Floyd Mayweather had a bad day, the boxing champion should stick with his day job after plunking down $10 million on the Broncos -2 points. At what he makes per fight, he will make the loss back in about 2 or 3 rounds into his next fight. We hardly feel sorry for him.
