Manning and his new band mates made their first appearance last Sunday night in Denver, and most were pleased with the results. Denver knocked off the visiting Steelers 31-19 at Mile High as Manning completed 19-of-26 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns in his first NFL action since 2010.

Certainly Pittsburgh is a good team, but Atlanta has been an extremely difficult out at the Georgia Dome since drafting Matt Ryan in 2008.
The Falcons also looked like world beaters last weekend, scoring a 40-24 road win at Kansas City. Atlanta played on a short field most of the day still managed to rack up 376 yards and it punted just one time in whipping the Chiefs defense. For his part, Ryan completed 23-of-31 passes for 299 yards and three touchdowns.
Denver has dominated this series, winning seven of the eight meetings between the two teams since 1985, but it struggling mightily last season containing pass happy offenses like the one Atlanta features. The Broncos yielded 49 points to Green Bay, 45 points to Detroit, 41 points to New England, 32 points to Minnesota, and 40 points to Buffalo. Based upon the Falcons recent track record at home and what they did last weekend at Kansas City, that trend should continue for Denver this evening.
