by Thomas Jensen on Wednesday, September 19th, 2012

Vegas Odds NFLSports-Odds.com wanted to get the scoop on some of the biggest potential NFL Week 3 Picks on the board so we reached out to a Vegas Odds Expert that has been on fire this season. Sports analyst David Patrick of Strike Point Sports is on the Doc’s Sports Advisory Board and has plenty to say about the Texans vs Broncos game and the Patriots vs Ravens Sunday Night Football Game.

“This week’s card has me completely focused on the extremely interesting games in the NFL,” stated David Patrick of Strike Point Sports. “I apologize to the NCAA’s, but the big boys are taking center stage this weekend. The supreme overlord of the AFC should be crowned, or at least in the ESPN analyst’s eyes, as Baltimore matches up with New England and Denver welcome’s Houston to town.

If your looking for a consistent winning football picks then you have to consider Doc’s Sports Advisory Board member Strike Point Sports because they have delivered profits on 17 of 24 football weeks over the last two seasons.

“I am really excited to see how New England and Denver bounce back from just pathetic performances. Both teams tried as they could to come back and win last week, but neither truly deserved the “W.” I for one was not impressed by either. I still feel that they are two of the best in the AFC but they definitely have to iron out the kinks.

The Vegas Odds show the Houston Texans -2 point road favorites against the Denver Broncos. The Texans vs Broncos game kicks off on Sunday September 23rd at 4:25 PM EST.

Here is what David Patrick had to say about a potential Texans vs Broncos Pick: “Denver is in much better shape currently as Peyton Manning can atone for his passing sins. He was wretched in the first quarter of that Falcon’s game, but as one of the greatest passers in NFL history he knows what it takes to win and how to overcome a poor performance. I like Denver to bounce back versus Houston this weekend as their defense should do a decent job of slowing down the Texans ground attack.”

The Total on the Texans vs Broncos game is set at OVER/UNDER 45.5 points. The money lines show Houston -130 odds and Denver +110 odds home dogs.

Here is what David Patrick had to say about a potential Patriots vs Ravens Pick: “New England meanwhile is in a state of disarray as they are dealing with the Aaron Hernandez in jury and Bill Belichick being a total jerk. For him to not start Wes Welker is just tragic. I hope to God he has a better reason for not starting him than the Welker “contract extension.” I hate how this egotistical maniac does things like this. Belichick always feels he has to flex his muscles as he has done it before with Randy Moss and Richard Seymour. The Patriots always play hard for this organization and Belichick acts like he is the only significant piece of this machine. “Hey Bill, play Welker more or lose!” How’s that sound?”

The Vegas Odds show the Baltimore Ravens -3 point home favorites agains the New England Patriots. The Patriots vs Ravens game kicks off on Sunday Night Football at 8:30 PM EST and the game will be televised on NBC. The money lines show Baltimore -148 odds and New England +128 odds road dogs.

Patrick went on to say: “In all seriousness Welker will have to take on a greater role if the Pats want to keep pace with the Ravens as Baltimore’s linebacking core can now focus all of their attention on Rob Gronkowski off the line. Yes, New England signed Kellen Winslow, but he won’t be nearly ready enough to make a difference in this one. Even with all of these shortcomings I still see New England pulling this one out.”
