2016 NFL Schedule Week 4 & Betting Odds

2016 nfl schedule week 4An interesting slate of games is on tap this week with four teams looking to remain undefeated and a host of others facing big early season tests. The 2016 NFL Schedule Week 4 is highlighted by an NBC Sunday Night Football clash between two 2-1 squads with championship aspirations as the Kansas City Chiefs square off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Steel City. The latest football betting odds from Bovada.lv have the Steelers lined as a -6 home favorite.

The Patriots, Broncos, Ravens and Vikings are all expected to move to 4-0 this weekend. Denver is set to face the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay and the defending champs, who scored an impressive road win against the Bengals last weekend, are laying three opposite Jameis Winston and company.

The other three squads are all playing host with the Pats welcoming Buffalo to Gillette Stadium, the Ravens taking on the Raiders in Baltimore and the Vikings battling the Giants at US Bank Stadium on ESPN Monday Night Football. Those three teams are favored at -5, -3.5 and -4.5 points, respectively.

The league’s other unbeaten, Philadelphia, has a bye this week along with the 2-1 Green Bay Packers.

The NBC Sunday Night Football game should be an intriguing one, but the spread would indicate the odds makers are anticipating a strong showing from the Steelers. Pittsburgh, playing as a road favorite, was completely embarrassed in Philly on Sunday, falling 34-3 to the Eagles. The Steelers vaunted offense managed all of 15 first downs and 251 total yards in the unexpected setback.

The Chiefs are coming off a 24-3 win over the Jets that saw them force eight turnovers, including six interceptions of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Pittsburgh has bounced back well in recent seasons when playing as a home favorite of -5 or more and coming off a road loss. The Steelers are 6-1 both straight up and against the spread in said role and they filled it twice last season, scoring 43-18 and 45-10 wins over the 49ers and Colts, respectively.
