2016 NFL Schedule Week 5 & Betting Odds

2016 nfl schedule week 5The NFL season will venture past the quarter mark this week and that means the divisional races are beginning to take shape. The wheat has already separated from the chaff in most cases, but the battle for the top of each division is just starting to get interesting, particularly in the AFC West, AFC North and NFC East.

The 2016 NFL Schedule Week 5 should provide plenty of intrigue with divisional front runners like Denver, Baltimore and Dallas facing what should be difficult tests. The latest betting odds from Bovada.lv are expecting wins from the Broncos and Ravens, who are trying to separate themselves from Oakland and Pittsburgh, respectively.

The Broncos are a -6 favorite over the surprising Falcons, who are a ridiculous 478.8 yards and 38 points per game. The Ravens are laying 3.5 points at home against geographical rival Washington, which has won its last two games. The Cowboys, on the other hand, are drawing a +1 line at home against the Bengals.

Dallas, which has dropped five straight as a home dog, is a half game behind the 3-0 Eagles in the NFC East. Philly, coming off its bye week, is favored by three over the hosting Lions.

The Raiders will look to improve to 4-1 and keep pace with Denver when they welcome AFC West rival San Diego to the Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. Oakland is drawing a -3.5 line and it has failed to cover the number four of the last five times it was favored at home over the Chargers.

New England, Pittsburgh, Houston, Los Angeles and Minnesota are the other division leaders in action. The Pats are a -11 favorite in Cleveland while the Steelers are -7 home favorite over the struggling Jets. The Rams and Vikings are -2 and -7 home favorites over the Bills and Texans, respectively.
