2016 NFL Schedule Week 11 & Betting Odds

There has been some debate recently over which division is the best in football with both the AFC West and NFC East making very strong cases. The air probably will not be cleared on that front this weekend, though. Not with the Giants, Cowboys, Raiders and Chiefs all favored by six or more points according to the latest NFL betting odds. In fact, the Eagles are the only team on the 2016 NFL Schedule Week 11 from those two divisions not favored.

However, Philadelphia’s underdog status is understandable as it travels to Seattle to face the Seahawks. The Eagles are drawing a +6.5 line in the game.

The Redskins are set to face the reeling Packers in the nation’s capitol, where they are favored by 2.5 points. The Broncos and Chargers are out of action this weekend.

If the playoffs were to start today, Dallas, Kansas City, Denver, Oakland, New York and Washington would all be participants. And Philly would be on the brink, sitting just behind the Redskins in the Wild Card standings.

There are plenty of teams still in the chase, though, and this weekend could be highly beneficial to the likes of Arizona and Miami.

The Cardinals can leap frog both the Vikings and Eagles in the NFC Wild Card race with a win on Sunday and a Philly loss. Arizona is favored by one point at Minnesota. With a fifth straight win the Dolphins would improve to 6-4 and inch closer to a postseason berth. In spite of making its second consecutive trip to the West Coast, Miami is presently favored by 2.5 over the Rams.

Opening this week’s schedule are the Saints and Panthers, who will square off in Carolina tonight. New Orleans is presently seventh in the NFC Wild Card standings with a 4-5 record; however, it is only two games back of NFC South leader Atlanta.

Carolina’s playoff chances took a major hit with last Sunday’s devastating loss to the Chiefs, but the Panthers can keep their slim hopes alive with a win over the Saints. Cam Newton and company are favored by 3.5 points this evening.
