There are 8 early games on the 2012 NFL Schedule Week 13 that will be played on Sunday December 2nd. The game with the most intrigue for us will be the AFC East showdown between the New England Patriots (8-3) and the Miami Dolphins (5-6) which kicks off in Sun Life Stadium. The Patriots destroyed the Jets 49-19 on Thanksgiving night. The Dolphins scored 17 points in the 4th quarter to beat the Seahawks at home 24-21 last week. There are 4 late afternoon games on the 2012 NFL Schedule Week 13. The most anticipated game in the afternoon is clearly the AFC North rematch between the Baltimore Ravens (9-2) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) in M&T Bank Stadium at 4:25 PM EST. The Ravens beat the Chargers 16-13 on the road in overtime last week. The Steelers got beat 20-14 by the Browns in Cleveland in a game that saw Pittsburgh suffer from 8 turnovers. These two squads met in Heinz Field back in Week 11 with the Ravens beating the Steelers 13-10. Rumors are circulating the quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may return for this game, the Steelers miss him badly and have lost every game since he was injured. The odds makers have yet to open this line but we will update this section once they have posted the number.
The NBC Sunday Night Football Game features two NFC East squads as the Dallas Cowboys (5-6) play host to the Philadelphia Eagles (3-7) at 8:20 PM EST. The Cowboys came up short in their 38-31 home loss to the Redskins on Thanksgiving Day. The Eagles are slated to play the Panthers on ESPN Monday Night Football without quarterback Michael Vick or running back LeSean McCoy. The betting odds makers have made the Dallas Cowboys -10 point home favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles with the Total set at 43 points.
The ESPN Monday Night Football Game features two NFC East teams as well with the New York Giants (7-4) heading to the Nation’s capital to take on the Washington Redskins (5-6) at 8:30 PM EST in FedEx Field.
