Nude Playboy Olympian Amanda Beard Gives Birth to Baby Boy: On Tuesday in Los Angeles, CA, controversial Olympic swimmer/Playboy Nudist, Amanda Beard became a mother for the first time by giving birth to a healthy baby boy.
Representing the United States in the 2008 Beijing Olympic games, Beard dominated the headlines when she posed nude for Playboy in 2007. The 27-year-old mommy names her first child, Blaise Ray Brown who weighed 7 
pounds, 12 ounces. "Mom is doing great!" Evan Morganstein her agent said in an email to the Associated Press.
Despite being a 7-time Olympic medalist, Beard didn’t make much noise for the Americans in China last year. In fact, she didn’t even advance out of the preliminaries in the 200-meter breaststroke.
At the tender age of 14, Beard got her first taste of Olympic competion in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Beard also went on to compete in the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics, and 2008 Summer Olympics. The last time she actually won a medal was in the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad in Athens, Greece. Beard also held the world number one ranking of 200-meter breaststrokers in 2003.
Besides Playboy, Beard also posed for Men’s magazine FHM and even appeared in the 2006 Sports Illustrated’s coveted Swimsuit Edition. She also went on to make television commercials as well as a correspondent for "The Best Damn Sports Show Peroid", where she covered major sporting events.
