2013 WSOP Prop Bets

hellmuth iveyThe 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event will get underway at 12:00pm ET on Saturday, July 6th at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 10-day event features a $10,000 buy in and each player begins with 30,000 in tournament chips. Offshore bookmaker Sportsbook.ag has released a number of 2013 WSOP Prop Bets for non-poker players to take action on the action. Among the bets being offered at Sportsbook.ag are: Country of birth of the champion (United States favored at -120 odds over the rest of the world), Age of the Main Event winner (Over/Under presently set at 26.5 years old), and Final/Winning hand (2 Pair or better favored at -135 odds). There are also several match-up props pitting some the best poker players in the world opposite one another. The pairing between Phil Hellmuth, who won the Main Event in 1989 and holds a record 13 WSOP bracelets, and Phil Ivey is a -110 moneyline pick’em, but most of the other match-ups, including one between Barry Greenstein and Johnny Chan, feature a favorite.
