Owned by Gary and Mary West, Call Shot was considered a long shot in the Coolmore Lexington Stakes-G2 on April 17th but there were some still hopeful that the colt would run a good race. In the end, he didn’t even come close to a top three finish and finished 11th. His record in coming in at 1-1-2 out of six races and his only 2010 placing finish was in February’s Allowance race when he took 3rd.
Call Shot’s (Tale Of The Cat – Sweet Monarch by Wavering Monarch) pedigree hasn’t really shown true promise either. His grandfather on his mom’s side did race in the 1982 Kentucky Derby but only placed 12th.
