2009 Kentucky Derby: I Want Revenge 3 to 1 odds favorite

I Want Revenge, is the 2009 Kentucky Derby favorite with three wins, a second, and four thirds in eight career starts, is two-for-two on dirt. He won the 1 1/16-mile Grade 3 Gotham Stakes last month by 8 ½ lengths and the 1 1/8-mile Grade 1 Wood Memorial, both under 19-year-old jockye Joe Talamo, who'll be riding in his first Derby on Saturday.

General Quarters, winner of that 1 1/8-mile Grade 1 Blue Grass at Keeneland three weeks ago, at 25/1; West Side Bernie, who  finished second in the Wood by a length and a half at 35/1, Mr. Hot Stuff, who took third in the Santa Anita Derby at 30/1. Summer Bird is at 50/1; Advice, who went from last down the backstretch to first at the wire, at 16/1, in winning the 1 1/16-mile Grade 2 Lexington Stakes two weeks ago, at 30/1; and Flying Private, one-for-10 in his career, and Mine That Bird, with four wins in eight career starts, at 50/1.
