Roger Federer Girlfriend Pregnant: One of the best players to ever swing a racket, 27-year-old Roger Federer, announced on his Website that he and his longtime girlfriend, Miroslava "Mirka" Vavrinec, are expecting their first child.
The 13-time Grand Slam champion and his lovely girlfriend, a former World Tennis Association player, met and have been together since the 2000 Sydney Olympics while representing Switzerland. 
Federer, who is still chasing Pete Sampras’ 14-Gand Slams record, is currently No. 2 in the world rankings after being dethroned by his Spanish rival, Rafael Nadal.
"Mirka and I are excited to let you know that we will be parents this summer!" Federer wrote on his blog. "Mirka is pregnant and we are so happy to be starting a family together. This is a dream come true for us. We love children and we are looking forward to being parents for the first time. Mirka is feeling great and everything is going well."
Federer lost to Nadal in five sets in the 2009 Australian Open final, breaking down in tears after the match. Federer pulled out of Switzerland’s Davis Cup series against the United States and withdrew from the Dubai Tennis Championships because of an injured back. “I arrived in Indian Wells earlier this week and I am eager to get back out on court,” Federer said. “My back is feeling much better and I am ready to go.”
