Justine Henin vs Vera Zvonareva 2010 Sony Ericsson Open Odds: Former world No.1 Justine Henin continues her climb towards the top of the world rankings, while slaying some of the world’s best in the process. After Justine Henin’s [-330 ML] dominant win over 5th seeded Elena Dementieva and (26) Dominika Cibulkova, the 7-time Grand Slam champion will now face another Russian sports betting odds underdog (11th seed) Vera Zvonareva [+230 ML] in the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open Odds’ fourth round.
Coming into the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open Odds as a wild card, Henin has yet to drop a set through three rounds. Currently ranked No.33 in the WTA, Henin defeated Jill Craybas in the opening round and has cruised in rather easy fashion. That includes a straight-set win over Dementieva.
“It was not as hard as it was in Australia, but I was happy with the way I played tonight. I wanted this victory a lot,” Henin said after defeating Dementieva for the second time this year. “I was aggressive, went to the net, took my chances. To beat top-10 players again gives me confidence. Indian Wells was difficult and I worked very hard since then, so this is a good win. It'll help me the rest of the tournament”
The 27-year-old Belgian will now be taking on the 11th seeded Russian who also cruised through her first two matches. After enjoying a first-round bye, Zvonareva defeated 2009 US Open feel-good story, Melanie Oudin (6-1, 6-2) in the second round and Sara Errani (6-2, 6-3) in the third.
