The ATP French Open Championship officially begins May 25th, and ends June 8th 2008. This is the seconds Grand Slam of the year. All the action takes place in Stade Roland Garros, France. Two players that have recently dominated their peers on this surface will be defending their title. Both, they have ruled the competition in historic fashion. For the men, the Spaniard Rafael Nadal sure seems invincible on this surface, as he will defend his title against a field of star-studded players. "Rafa", will attempt to tie Bjorn Borg’s mark of 4 consecutive French Open titles won (in the Open era). For the women, the Belgian Justine Henin, will try to become the first woman in the Open era, to win 4 consecutive French Open titles. Henin is currently tied with Monica Seles (with 3 consecutive French Opens apiece). The fine folks at SBGglobal.com have prepared the odds every player has of winning this year’s French Open. Rafael Nadal: - 170 Roger Federrer: + 450 Novak Djokovic: + 600 David Nalbandian: + 2000 Nikolay Davydenko: + 2500
