Dinara Safina made quick work of her third straight opponent at the French Open, defeating Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia 6-2, 6-0 Friday to advance to the fourth round.
The top-ranked Safina won her first match 6-0, 6-0, and then lost only one game in each set in the second round.
Safina is trying to win her first Grand Slam title. She lost in the final at Roland Garros last year, and then lost in the Australian Open final this year.
