It is extremely hard to believe that there is actually something Roger Federer has not accomplished in the game of tennis. The French Open Roland Garros is the only Grand Slam title that has year-by-year eluded the world’s No. 1 ranked player Roger Federer. For the most part, No. 2 ranked Rafael Nadal is the reason why Federer has yet to be the last man standing in Paris.

Everyone is expecting that incredible match-up to take place (as it usually does) in this year’s Men’s finals this weekend.

But first, Federer has to fight off the crowd who will be 100% behind the French’s last hope, Gael Monfils.

BetUs.com has Roger Federer a -1200 French Open Men’s semifinals betting odds favorite against the Frenchman, Gael Monfils (+600).

After getting off to a slow start in the quarterfinals by loosing the opening set to 24th seeded Fernando Gonzalez, Roger Federer definitely kicked it up a notch. After that hiccup in the first set, Roger came back strong to advance to his 16th consecutive Grand Slam semifinals, beating out Gonzalez 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4. If Federer is able to advance to the finals, and beat Rafa, this will mark a career Grand Slam, and a 13th major championship.

Meanwhile, Federer’s opponent, the 59th ranked Frenchman Gael Monfils, is coming off a big win in the quarters, as the crowd willed him to the victory. It is safe to say that, going against Federer his chances look dim. The Frenchman should have his hands full with Roger’s power-serves, backhand, forehand… etcetera. Roger Federer certainly possesses every single tennis shot imaginable in his terrific repertoire.

My French Open R.G. Prediction: Roger Federer -1200
