Andy Murray will attempt to reach the Wimbledon semifinals for a third consecutive year when he squares off against Spain's Feliciano Lopez tomorrow morning. Lopez, who is eyeing his first trip to the Wimbledon semis, and Murray are scheduled to take Centre Court sometime around 7:00 AM ET. Sports Betting Odds have the fourth ranked Brit listed as a -1200 moneyline favorite.
Andy Murray played his best 
round of tennis at this year's Wimbledon on Monday, disposing of 17th ranked Frenchman Richard Gasquet in straight sets, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, 6-2. The win propelled Murray into his fourth straight Wimby quarterfinals and it gave him his third career victory in five meetings with Gasquet.
Murray, despite placing just 56 of his 93 first serve attempts, controlled the service game with win percentages of 80 and 59 on his first and second serves respectively. Gasquet, who was subjected to 14 Murray aces, put together far worse totals of 69 and 50 percent.
Murray also handled the other aspects of his game well, slamming 44 winners to just 10 unforced errors in the impressive showing.
Feliciano Lopez, who upset Andy Roddick last week, earned his way to the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the third time in his career by means of a grueling five set victory over Poland's Lukasz Kubot. Lopez trailed 3-6, 6-7 (7-5) after two frames, but rallied to win the final three sets 7-6 (9-7), 7-5, 7-5 to keep his Grand Slam title hopes alive.
For Lopez' dreams to come true, though, he must earn his first career win over the 24 year old Murray. Murray presently holds a 4-0 advantage over the Spaniard thanks to a 6-3, 7-6 win on the hard courts of Valencia in October of 2010. Lopez, who was 0-7 in head to head matches with Roddick until Friday's third round triumph, has never faced Murray on a grass court.
